Ealing

Often referred to as the “Queen of the Suburbs”, Ealing balances a quiet, rural lifestyle, with all of the hustle and bustle of a central London location. The town makes an ideal home for families, due to its excellent schools and green spaces, as well as, increasingly, to young professionals, attracted by the excellent transport links to central London.

There is a wide variety of shops, restuarants and bars in the busy town centre. Ealing is home to an abundance of well-known chain stores, as well as some more unusual boutique and antique shops. The town also hosts a variety of markets, including a weekly farmers market and a crafts market.

These more cosmopolitan features are contrasted with leafy residential streets and an abundance of walks, parks and gardens, creating an atmosphere of calm which is highly unusual considering the fact that the city of London is a mere 35 minutes away. Ealing is host to a number of annual festivals, including a jazz festival, a beer festival and a comedy festival. Overall, Ealing is the perfect combination of exciting urban opportunities with a rural atmosphere.
